FOR CERTAINTY, EACH CONTEST CONSTITUTES A SEPARATE AND INDEPENDENT PROMOTIONAL CONTEST. ENTRY INTO ONE CONTEST DOES NOT CONSTITUTE ENTRY INTO ANY OTHER CONTEST UNLESS EXPRESSLY STATED BY THE SPONSOR.<\/p>\n<p>ONLY ELIGIBLE ENTRIES RECEIVED DURING THE APPLICABLE CONTEST PERIOD FOR A PARTICULAR CONTEST, AS LISTED IN SCHEDULE A, WILL BE ENTERED INTO AND CONSIDERED FOR THAT CONTEST\u2019S PRIZE DRAW. ENTRIES RECEIVED BEFORE OR AFTER THE APPLICABLE CONTEST PERIOD WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR THAT CONTEST AND WILL NOT CARRY FORWARD TO SUBSEQUENT CONTESTS, UNLESS EXPRESSLY SPECIFIED IN SCHEDULE A.<\/p>\n<p>EACH CONTEST SHALL BE CONSTRUED AND EVALUATED ACCORDING TO APPLICABLE CANADIAN LAW. VOID IN WHOLE OR IN PART WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. ENTRY IN THE CONTEST CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE MASTER CONTEST RULES (HEREIN THE \u201cCONTEST RULES\u201d).<\/p>\n<p>No purchase required. There is a total of one (1) prize available for each Contest, as further described in Schedule A.\u00a0 Skill-testing question required. Open to legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who are age of majority in the province at time of entry. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received before contest closes. Entries are limited to one (1) entry per person.<\/p>\n<h1>ELIGIBILITY<\/h1>\n<p>Each Contest is open to legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory at the time of entry, with the exception of employees of Edmonton Airports, their parents, related and affiliated companies, subsidiaries, departments or agencies, franchisees, suppliers, advertising and promotional agencies, contest administrators, and any other parties engaged in the development, production or distribution of Contest materials, and those living in the same household.<\/p>\n<p>By participating in a Contest, entrants acknowledge compliance with, and agree to be bound by, these Contest Rules. Entrants who do not comply with any of the Contest Rules are subject to disqualification by the Sponsor, in Sponsor\u2019s sole discretion.<\/p>\n<h1><\/h1>\n<h1>CONTEST PERIOD<\/h1>\n<p>The contest period for each Contest (the \u201c<strong>Contest Period<\/strong>\u201d) is set out in Schedule A attached to these Contest Rules.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>HOW TO ENTER<\/h1>\n<p>The available methods of entry for a Contest will depend on the applicable Contest and will be specified in Schedule A. \u00a0Subject to Indemnification by Entrants section herein, during each Contest Period, entrants may enter the applicable Contest using one of the entry methods made available by Edmonton Airports for that Contest, as identified in Schedule A, which may include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Social Media Giveaways: <\/strong>Entrants may enter the Contest by completing the actions specified in the applicable Contest social media post and providing any information requested by Edmonton Airports. Required actions may include, but are not limited to, liking, commenting on, sharing, following, tagging, submitting content, or other activities described in the post.<\/li>\n<li><strong>YEGplus Giveaways:<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Existing YEGplus members may enter the Contest by redeeming a designated Contest entry reward for 0 points through the YEGplus program during the respective Contest Period; <strong><u>or<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>For entrants who do not wish to enroll in YEGplus rewards program, they can enter without signing up for the YEGplus rewards program by emailing <a href=\"mailto:rewards@yegplus.com\">rewards@yegplus.com<\/a> with the subject line \u201cElks Ticket Giveaway\u201d. Your email must include: (a) your first name, (b) last name, (c) game date and (d) a file attachment, saved only as a PDF (Portable Document Format) and titled \u201cElks Ticket Giveaway [YOURLASTNAME].pdf\u201d, containing a 200-word essay on the topic \u201ca positive experience you\u2019ve had at YEG\u201d (the \u201c<strong>Essay Submission<\/strong>\u201d).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All entries, regardless of entry method, are subject to the same eligibility requirements, entry limits and draw process.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>PRIZE SPONSORS<\/h1>\n<p>Each Main Prize is sponsored Edmonton Airports.<\/p>\n<h1><\/h1>\n<h1>PRIZE<\/h1>\n<p>There is one (1) main prize available for each Contest as further described in Schedule A (each, a \u201c<strong>Main Prize<\/strong>\u201d).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>VALID ENTRIES<\/h1>\n<p>In order to be eligible for a Main Prize, valid entries must be received within the relevant Contest Period for each Contest, as identified in Schedule A, and in accordance with these Contest Rules. Entry requirements for the prizes are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Individuals may enter the contest by doing one of the following, as indicated in Schedule A:<\/li>\n<li><strong>Social Media Giveaways: <\/strong>Entrants may enter the Contest by completing the actions specified in the applicable Contest social media post and providing any information requested by Edmonton Airports. Required actions may include, but are not limited to, liking, commenting on, sharing, following, tagging, submitting content, or other activities described in the post.<\/li>\n<li><strong>YEGplus Giveaways:<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Existing YEGplus members may enter the Contest by redeeming a designated Contest entry reward for 0 points through the YEGplus program during the respective Contest Period; <strong><u>or<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>For entrants who do not wish to enroll in the YEGplus rewards program, they can enter without signing up for the YEGplus rewards program by completing an Essay Submission (as described above).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Entries are limited to one (1) entry per person per Contest.<\/li>\n<li>All entries become the sole property of the Sponsor, and none will be returned for any reason;<\/li>\n<li>All entries for a Contest must be received no later than the end of the relevant Contest Period for that respective Contest as indicated on Schedule A; and<\/li>\n<li>Entries will be declared invalid if they are lost, late, illegible, incomplete, irregular, forged or mechanically reproduced.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>ELIGIBILITY<\/h1>\n<p>All board members, directors, officers and employees of Edmonton Airports along with their immediate family are not eligible to participate in the Contest. For the purpose of these Contest Rules, \u201cimmediate family\u201d means husband, wife, spouse, mother, father, brother, sister, son and\/or daughter, whether or not they reside in the same household. Sponsor shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and\/or eligibility to participate in the Contest. Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification. All personal and other information requested by and supplied to Sponsor for the purpose of each Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant, should any entrant at any stage supply untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details and\/or information.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>GENERAL RESTRICTIONS CONCERNING PRIZES<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>A winner may only win one (1) Main Prize from each<\/li>\n<li>Each Main Prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, assigned, substituted or redeemed for cash or other form, except in Edmonton Airports\u2019 sole discretion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>WINNER SELECTION<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>The winning entry for each Main Prize will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period for that respective Contest as identified in Schedule A. The Main Prize draw will be held at the offices of Edmonton Airports on the draw date for that respective Contest, as listed on Schedule A (each, a \u201c<strong>Draw Date<\/strong>\u201d).<\/li>\n<li>The odds of being selected as a Main Prize winner are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received during the respective Contest Period for that Contest. Before being declared a Main Prize winner, the potential winner shall be required to answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question during a pre-arranged telephone call or face to face meeting, comply with these Contest Rules, and sign and return the Prize Declaration and Release form (defined below).<\/li>\n<li>A Main Prize winner will be notified by e-mail no later than ten (10) business days from the Main Prize Draw Date for that respective Contest, as identified in Schedule A. Upon notification, the selected potential winner must respond by e-mail or telephone to the e-mail or contact number provided in the notification within two (2) business days of such notification. If the selected potential winner does not respond in accordance with these Contest Rules, they will be disqualified and will not receive the Main Prize and another potential winner may be selected from the eligible entries received during the Contest Period of the respective Contest. The Sponsor is not responsible for the failure for any reason whatsoever of a selected potential prize winner to receive notification or for Sponsor to receive a selected potential winner\u2019s response.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>RELEASE<\/h1>\n<p>The winner of a Main Prize will be required to execute a legal agreement and release (herein \u201c<strong>Prize Declaration and Release<\/strong>\u201d) that confirms (a) eligibility for the relevant Contest and compliance with these Contest Rules; (b) acceptance of the Main Prize as offered; (c) the release of the Sponsor and its affiliates, employees, directors, officers, suppliers, agents, sponsors and administrators (collectively, the \u201c<strong>Releasees<\/strong>\u201d) from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense arising out of participation in this Contest, participation in any Contest-related activity or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the Main Prize, including without limitation costs, injuries, losses related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light, or from any and all claims of third parties arising there from; (d) agreement to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all liability relating to any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense of any guest travelling with the winner arising from the prize-related activity or during any guest\u2019s use or misuse of the Main Prize, including without limitation costs, injuries, losses related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction or property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light, or from any and all claims of third parties arising from the actions of the guest; and (e) a grant to the Sponsor of the unrestricted right, in the Sponsor\u2019s discretion, to produce, reproduce, publish, broadcast, communicate by telecommunication, exhibit, distribute, adapt and otherwise use or re-use the Main Prize winner\u2019s photograph, likeness, voice and biography, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, in connection with the Contest and the promotion and exploitation thereof.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The executed Prize Declaration and Release form must be returned within two (2) business days of the verification as a winner or the selected potential Main Prize winner will be disqualified and the Main Prize forfeited.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>INDEMNIFICATION BY ENTRANTS<\/h1>\n<p>By entering the Contest, each entrant releases and holds the Releasees harmless from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to the entrant, Releasees, or any other person, including personal injury, death, or property damage, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, participation in this Contest, any breach of these Contest Rules, or in any prize-related activity. Each entrant agrees to fully indemnify Releasees from any and all claims by third parties relating to the Contest, without limitation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>LIMITATION OF LIABILITY<\/h1>\n<p>Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for lost, late, misdirected or incomplete entries, notifications, responses, replies or any release that may occur. Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries. Each entrant assumes liability for injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participating in any Contest, or by the acceptance, possession, use of, or failure to receive a Main Prize. Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability in the event that the Contest cannot be conducted as planned for any reason, including those reasons beyond the control of the Sponsor, such as tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or corruption of the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest.<\/p>\n<h1><\/h1>\n<h1>CONDUCT<\/h1>\n<p>By entering a Contest, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Contest Rules. Each entrant further agrees to be bound by the decision of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant found to be: (a) violating the Contest Rules; (b) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest; and\/or (c) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE CONTEST OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.<\/p>\n<h1><\/h1>\n<h1>PRIVACY \/ USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION<\/h1>\n<p>By participating in any Contest, each entrant: (a) grants to the Sponsor the right to use their name, mailing address, telephone number, identity on Facebook, X, and\/or Instagram, and e-mail address (\u201c<strong>Personal Information<\/strong>\u201d) for the purpose of administering the Contest, including but not limited to contacting and announcing the winners; (b) if selected as a Main Prize winner, grants to the Sponsor the right to use their name and likeness for publicity and promotional purposes relating to the Contest, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, without further compensation unless prohibited by law; and (c) acknowledges that the Sponsor may disclose their Personal Information to third-party agents and service providers of the Sponsor in connection with any of the activities listed in (a) above. The Sponsor will use entrants\u2019 Personal Information only for identified purposes, and protect entrants\u2019 Personal Information in a manner that is consistent with Edmonton Airports\u2019 Privacy Statement located <a href=\"https:\/\/flyeia.com\/privacy-policy\/\">https:\/\/flyeia.com\/privacy-policy\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>By submitting an entry for this Contest, the entrant grants the Sponsor: (a) the rights to all intellectual property in that entry; and (b) a waiver of moral rights for the post submitted in favour of the Sponsor. The entrant also represents that: (a) it has all rights, licenses and permission and consents necessary to submit the entry; and (b) the entry does not and will not infringe or violate the rights of any third party or entity.<\/li>\n<li>All intellectual property of the Sponsor, including but not limited to trade-marks, trade names, logos, designs, promotional materials, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations are owned by or under the licensed use of the Sponsor and\/or its affiliates. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any of the Sponsor\u2019s copyrighted material or any of the Sponsor\u2019s intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>TERMINATION<\/h1>\n<p>Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate any Contest, in whole or in part, and\/or modify, amend or suspend any Contest, and\/or the Contest Rules in any way, at any time, for any reason without prior notice.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>LAW<\/h1>\n<p>The Contest is subject to applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. These Contest Rules are subject to change without notice in order to comply with any applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws or the policy of any other entity having jurisdiction over the Sponsor. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Contest Rules or the rights and obligations as between the entrant and the Sponsor in connection with the Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta including procedural provisions without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction\u2019s laws.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>LANGUAGE DISCREPANCY<\/h1>\n<p>In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the Contest Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest-related materials, including but not limited to Contest entry forms, or point of sale, television, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of the Contest Rules shall prevail, govern and control.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>CURRENCY<\/h1>\n<p>References to dollars or $ means Canadian dollars, unless otherwise stated.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS<\/h1>\n<p>This Contest is sponsored by Edmonton Airports and in no way is this
